Our 5-star hotel is located in Cologne’s Trankgasse, which has existed since Roman times. We’ve been here since 1863. Our heritage brings with it a solemn sense of duty and responsibility – and one that’s engraved into our grand hotel. Sometimes visibly, in the form of our listed facade, wooden panelling and the cross-shaped window bars that beckon to our neighbor, Cologne Cathedral. But sometimes also invisibly in the form of an eternal commitment to service – one which we interpret in the hearty Cologne way of course. Its 133 rooms and suites offer the backdrop for an unforgettable stay. At Restaurant Hanse Stube we adorn French haute cuisine with Rhineland accents – turning every business lunch or family dinner into a special event. taku, is the home of Michelin star chef Mirko Gaul who combines exquisite fine dining with unabashed experimentation to create exciting, Asian-inspired compositions. In Wintergarden we offer our famous afternoon tea accompanied by live piano music.
