The living room for the neighborhood, South Congress Hotel is an 83-room boutique hotel designed to be a hub of activity for the community. A place for travelers and locals alike, the hotel has three unique restaurants, a coffee + bake shop, a rooftop pool, lobby bar, and two retail shops. All locally owned, all right at the doorstep of Austin’s favorite street. Designed to blend into its surroundings, the inspiration behind South Congress Hotel was to build more than just a great hotel for Austin and the neighborhoods it sits between, but to expand upon the sense of place defined by South Congress and South Austin. South Congress Hotels food & beverage program includes Café No Sé, Mañana Coffee & Bakeshop, the lobby and pool bars, event catering, and in-room dining. Chef Yoshi Okai leads the multi-course omakase experience at Otoko and its intimate Japanese-style cocktail bar, Watertrade. Chef Michael Fojtasek oversees the latest collaboration between MaieB Hospitality + New Waterloo, Maie Day.
