About
Cour des Vosges, Evok Collection

Considered a mansion by some, a château by others, Cour des Vosges is experienced as an exceptional residence welcoming epicures, hedonists, history buffs, and lovers of Paris. The butler hands over the key to the 12 rooms and suites, each of which feels like a pied-à-terre, an esoteric spot, in a hotel unlike any other. Cour des Vosges instantly invites you to immerse yourself into the life of a noble French family dating back to the 16th century. A family of art lovers and collectors that has enjoyed gathering sculptures, ceramics, tapestries, and furnishings over the decades, representing various artistic movements and the experiences of generations of patrons of the arts. Interior designers Yann Le Coadic and Alessandro Scotto reached back into parisian history and explored the past like archaeologists, in order to reveal its beauty, uniqueness, and strength. In dealing with a historic landmark with original painted ceiling beams and period terra cotta floors, the guiding theme of their design was to protect, preserve, and respect the authenticity and spirit of the building.

More About
Cour des Vosges, Evok Collection

In the heart of the historic center of Paris is a unique hotel with stunning views of the Square Louis XIII. The Cour des Vosges offers twelve rooms and suites, a restaurant and a Roman bath. A secret retreat, an esoteric spot, and a hotel unlike any other, Cour des Vosges cultivates the French Art de vivre and the elegance of Parisian mansions of a bygone era. The interior design by Lecoadic-Scotto creates quite an unusual atmosphere: a discussion between eras where contemporary design meets period objects and references. High ceilings, terra cotta floor tiles, redesigned four-poster beds – here, the authenticity and spirit of the location are preserved and respected. The terrace on the ground floor offers light fare and also a “Brach pastry corner” with a selection of sweet treats concocted by pastry chef Yann Brys, who was named Meilleur Ouvrier de France. With its French royal past reverberating through its stone walls, La Cour des Vosges reinvents history. In the regal surroundings of the famous Place des Vosges, EVOK makes time stand still by imbuing the national heritage site of the former Hôtel de Montbrun with poetry. While respecting the period forms and volumes, the celebrated trees and arcades are admitted into the intimate environment of the rooms. All overlooking the Louis XIII gardens and the pink-brick houses with slate roofs, the twelve rooms and suites of this 17th -century residence now offer private spaces, a tearoom, and Roman baths, revisited over four floors to give a noble feeling of authenticity.
