About
The Ned

Opened in 2017, The Ned London originated in the former Midland Bank headquarters, designed by Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens in 1924. Situated in the heart of the City, the Grade I listed building now houses Ned’s Club, a private members’ space, alongside restaurants & bars, Ned’s Club Spa and hotel bedrooms. The 250 bedrooms, located on floors one to seven, range in size from intimate to large-scale suites – all with a nod to 1920s glamour. Seven restaurants and nine bars sit amidst The Ned’s historic 3,000 sq m former banking hall and lower ground floor, serving food and drinks from around the world. The ground floor includes Millie’s Lounge, Cecconi’s, Malibu Kitchen, Lutyens Grill, Kaia, Electric Diner and Nickel Lounge. On the lower ground floor sits The Parlour, an intimate jazz and cabaret bar. Neds Club Gym is a 620 square metre space and has more than 40 classes a week across three studios, plus cardiovascular, strength and training equipment. Neds Club Spa offers a variety of relaxing treatments, from manicures and pedicures, to advanced facials, massages and hair services. Six Grade I-listed meeting and event spaces and two outdoor terraces are available to hire on the historic sixth floor. Rooms range in size from 21 sq m to 165 sq m, and can accommodate between 4 and 200 people.

More About
The Ned

London-based Soho House & Co and New York’s Sydell Group joined forces to create The Ned: a hotel with a collection of restaurants, members’ club and spa in the City of London. Set in the former Midland Bank building, The Ned was designed by Sir Edwin 'Ned' Lutyens in 1924. The hotel hosts 250 bedrooms channeling 1920s and 1930s design, a range of men’s and women’s grooming services, six Grade I-listed meeting rooms and two outdoor terraces available to hire on the fully-restored sixth floor and ‘Ned’s Club’, a social and fitness club, where members have access to a rooftop pool, gym, spa, hammam and late night lounge bar in the bank’s original vault.   Eight public and two private restaurants sit in the space, from modern Italian dishes at Cecconi’s City of London; British brasserie Millie’s Lounge to Malibu Kitchen, which serves up lighter Californian food.   Within the spa offering you’ll find Cheeky, a fast, no-nonsense service for nails, good for those short on time or on a lunch break; Cowshed, a one-stop shop for head-to-toe maintenance; The Parlour, our hairdressing salon and Ned’s Barbershop, a classic, speakeasy-style barbershop for the modern gentleman.
