Inspired Design The W Edinburgh comprises three distinct buildings, two new and one historic, with a rich and varied, but complementary architectural presence. While part of the wider St James Quarter, these buildings, around their own square, form their own new quarter, the heart of W Edinburgh. Conceived as a bundle of coiled ribbons, culminating in a pennant flying in the Edinburgh breeze, the Ribbon Building is designed to capture the very spirit of festivity. The bronze-colored metal ribbons - a nod to the iconic festival city.
