I count myself as one of the lucky few who have been able to not only enjoy but be immersed in travel virtually my entire life. Over the years, whether I was directly involved or on the periphery, I have witnessed firsthand many of the more challenging aspects of our industry and how ASTA has not only supported but fought for the Travel Advisor community.

As we enter a new period of change, I feel strongly that our need for ASTA has never been stronger – a centralized body that understands the landscape, the various stakeholders, and what success looks like for Travel Agencies and their Travel Advisors.

As a 3rd generation owner, leader, and travel professional, I am passionate about our future and my belief that we are entering into what can be an exciting evolution of our industry. There are new technologies we need to understand, and we need to ensure that our advisors have the best available platforms and content to continue to exceed our customer’s expectations. For the past few years, I have been fortunate enough to serve as the Vice Chairman for the Commonwealth Business Travel Group (cbtgroup.com), where I have continued to develop not only my understanding of the pressures in our industry but also how to develop solutions to solve them.
